The best of Tuscan cuisine

We offer a carefully selected menu which offer seasonal dishes such as mushrooms and truffles, game nostrale, wild asparagus and house specialties, all with special attention to the home cooking and popular Aretina.

Arezzo

Arezzo, a very ancient city (Etruscan-Roman), a free commune in the late fourteenth century, was the birthplace of Francesco Petrarca, Giorgio Vasari and many personalities from various periods of our history (Pier della Francesca, Masaccio, Michelangelo, etc..), Arezzo still has significant monuments (such as the Roman Amphitheatre, the Church of St. Francis, the Basilica della Pieve, Piazza del Duomo, Piazza Grande). And just in Piazza Grande (or Vasari square) , a remarkable reminder, there is the “Giostra del Saracino” in June at night and the first Sunday of September. It is in this wonderful corner of the city for over 200 years there is Antica Osteria Agania, always then inserted into the original historic fabric of the city.
